About Me
I’m a certified Infant and Toddler sleep coach, and a mum to my energetic two-year-old, who’s always on the go!
I’ve been a senior Midwife in the NHS for the past six years. Supporting parents and families has always been a passion of mine – it’s truly a privilege to do this everyday.
It was only when I became a parent and experienced those sleepless nights first-hand that I really understood just how important good, quality sleep is – not just for me and my husband, but for our son too.
I’ve been there too—up in the middle of the night, scrolling through the internet, wondering, "Why won’t my baby sleep?" and "Will I ever get a good night’s rest again?"
Yes you will!
I was running on empty, I really struggled with the effects of sleep deprivation, even small daily tasks were difficult.
My Story
That time I melted all the bottles…
In the thick of newborn life with my son, I hit a point of exhaustion I didn’t know was possible. One morning, after yet another broken night, I went to sterilise the bottles—only to realise too late that I’d forgotten to add the water.
Every. Single. Bottle. Melted.
I just stood there in the kitchen, blinking back tears, wondering how I was supposed to keep going when I could barely remember the basics. I felt lost, overwhelmed, and completely worn out.
That moment has stuck with me—not just because of the plastic disaster, but because I truly understand what it’s like to feel like you’re running on empty.
Not long after that, I reached out to a sleep coach—and it changed everything. With the right support and a plan that actually worked for our family, our days became calmer, and our nights so much more restful.
I finally felt like myself again.
That experience stayed with me. It’s what inspired me to combine my personal journey, my knowledge as a midwife, and a passion for helping families—and become a certified Baby and Toddler Sleep Coach myself.
That’s how Tender Loving Sleep was born: a place for tired parents to feel heard, supported, and guided toward better sleep with confidence, care, and compassion.
